The original site of the old Criterion Hotel (left) on the northern side of the Left Hand Branch is just a bare patch of roadside reserve today, backing onto a beautiful fern gully.

Guatta's wine shop made imaginative use of this natural rock cellar.

Be prepared for at least 20 minutes of fairly solid uphill hiking to get to the cricket ground from this point (right) -- but it's a unique sight that's well worth it when you get there, and downhill all the way back. Keep an eye out for the remains of 100-year-old cottage gardens along the way!
